And here’s the latest and greatest. This week the second hour highlighted the ‘progressive’ side of bluegrass. More on that below. Next week North Carolina artists will be highlighted. Since I am in North Carolina, and there are so many great artists from here, it just seems natural.

Now as to this new format I’m using that highlights a different part of bluegrass each week. I have found over that last couple of months that defining what is ‘progressive’ is (at least for me) not all that easy/simple. Given that I will change the highlight rotation starting next month (June). The new hightlight rotation will be:

First week               traditional/old school artists

Second week           women artists

Third week             North Carolina artists

Forth week             gospel grass

Fifth week (when there is one) independent artists and new releases
