On Saturday, Dec. 7, Rodney Dillard, best known as the front man for legendary progressive bluegrass band The Dillards, is scheduled to visit the Long Branch Baptist Church in Autryville, N.C. for two special Mayberry Christmas shows. Fellow Andy Griffith Show costar Maggie Peterson and always entertaining Mayberry Deputy David Browning will also participate and sign autographs.

Adkins & Loudermilk

Two of bluegrass music’s most admired players, Dave Adkins and Edgar Loudermilk,  have a fresh contemporary take on their music with the official formation of the new duo, Adkins & Loudermilk.  The two will begin touring immediatley in support of their solo efforts on Mountain Fever Records, with a duo record scheduled for release sometime in summer 2014.
